The Club’s mission is to provide a supportive forum where photographers of all levels can gather to learn, share ideas and techniques, and explore both the science and art of photography. These goals will be met through presentations by external speakers as well as fellow club members and active participation by members in club photo assignments, competitions, field trips and monthly meetings.

St. James Photography Club 2025 Monthly Photo Assignment
For our most recent meeting, we reviewed members "Cityscape" photos from the last two years. We learned and laughed while watching a video from Scott Kelby who described using an iPhone as his backup or even main travel photography camera. If you search YouTube.com, you will find many entertaining and educational videos from him. In addition, we saw a YouTube video from Carl Taylor titled: “Are you making these 7 common food photography mistakes?" This may be helpful in the next round of club assignments.
Great job with your Cityscape submissions!
